realme GT Neo 5 battery and 240W charging specs leaked

It seems like the current trend amongst smartphone brands today is to have the phone with the fastest charging possible, very handy in 7/11 charging stations, indeed!

After releasing the Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone earlier this year, the OPPO-backed business is preparing to release the GT Neo 5 and GT Neo 5T, skipping the 4 number as is customary in China, as the Realme GT Neo 3’s successor.

The battery stats and charging capacities of the two versions of the new Realme GT Neo 5 series smartphones have now been revealed online ahead of their official release.

The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone will be offered in two variations based on the battery and charging capacity, according to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station.

The 5,000mAh BLP985 battery supports 150W fast charging, while the 4,600mAh BLP987 battery supports a whopping 240W fast charging technology.

Additionally, it is claimed that the Realme GT Neo 5 series will perform better than the Realme GT Neo 3 series and include a Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

It will have a front-facing 16MP or 32MP camera for selfies and video calling in addition to a triple-camera setup on the back.

The smartphone is anticipated to include a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, according to leaks and reports to date.

Although the precise chipset is unknown, the gadget is most likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9-series processor. In terms of software, we anticipate that the phone will ship with the Realme UI 4.0 custom user interface and the Android 13 operating system.
