It’s another day in Laptoptown, and this time— all eyes are on Acer with their newest Nitro and Swift laptop lineup with high powered specs
New Nitro and Swift laptop models from Acer have been released internationally. In the upcoming months, these new laptops will be sold and will feature AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors.
The Swift Go 14, Nitro 16, and 17 are the names of these three brand-new laptops. The Acer Swift Go 14 is better suited for streaming video content and business use while the Nitro laptops are outfitted with features to compete with contemporary gaming titles.
Acer Swift Go 14
Weighing just under 1.3kg, the Acer Swift Go 14 is a portable laptop with a stylish design. With a peak brightness of 500 nits, its 14-inch 2.8K OLED display produces vivid and bright images with a wide 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a high refresh rate of 90Hz.
The laptop can be ordered with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. It is powered by powerful AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. The Swift Go 14 is outstanding for use while traveling thanks to Acer’s long battery life guarantee of up to 9.5 hours.
Furthermore, the laptop has various networking capabilities and enhanced thermal performance.
Acer Nitro 16 / Nitro 17
Starting with their displays, the Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 laptops both have potent specifications. The Nitro 16 has a 16-inch screen with an exceptional 84% screen-to-body ratio, a high 165Hz refresh rate, and a 100% sRGB color gamut.
On the other hand, the Nitro 17 has a larger 17.3-inch screen with a choice of FHD or QHD resolutions and a refresh rate of 165Hz. Both models come standard with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs and cutting-edge AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors, with the option to upgrade to 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
They also feature multiple networking capabilities, a customizable 4-zone RGB keyboard, and cutting-edge cooling technology.
For a variety of locations, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, and China, Acer has announced the Swift Go 14, Nitro 16, and Nitro 17 laptops. Although the availability date for India has not yet been announced, the other regions mentioned above will start receiving these devices in May 2023.
The North American pricing has been disclosed, but the Indian price tags are still a secret. In North America, the Nitro 16 starts at $1,149.99 or around ₱61,000, and the Nitro 17 starts at $1,199.99 or around ₱64,000. Prices for the Swift Go 14 start at $849.99 (₱45,000 converted).
