iPhone 15 Series USB-C details finally leaked

Looks like the USB-C is coming for the iPhones, but not in a way you would usually hope for because Apple being Apple, is made for iPhones…

This September, Apple is finally anticipated to move over to USB-C on its iPhone 15 series, and we now have our first glimpse at the purported port that is allegedly fastened to flexible PCB components.

The connector for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 is seen in the photographs posted by @lipilipsi on X (Twitter).

On the basis of prior rumors, it is anticipated that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus would use USB 2.0 standard ports that provide the same 480 Mbps data transfer rates and up to 20W charging speeds as the Lighting port.

With USB 3.2 ports, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will experience the first appreciable speed increase on the iPhone since 2012.

According to earlier rumors, Apple may restrict the data transfer and charging rates for USB-C cables and accessories that are not a part of its Made for iPhone (MFi) initiative. Apple’s keynote for the iPhone 15 series is anticipated to take place on September 13.

The walled garden of Apple’s eco-system are getting more restrictive as ever with these new information. Stay tuned to know more about the latest Apple-related news on our website.
