itel S23+ coming in PH this October 5: Curved AMOLED, Dynamic Island and more!

Known for its reputation for offering affordable smartphones, the itel S23+ stands out with its premium appearance, offered in Elemental Blue or Lake Cyan colors that create an attractive color gradient effect on the back cover.

The standout feature of this phone is its 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, boasting a 99 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and the added protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, the itel S23+ is powered by the 2.0GHz UNISOC T616 octa-core chipset, coupled with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM (expandable to 8GB virtual memory), and a generous 256GB of storage.

In terms of battery life, it sports a 5,000mAh capacity and supports fast charging with an 18W charger.

On the camera front, it features a 50MP primary camera along with a 0.08MP depth sensor. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front-facing camera.

The phone also offers the convenience of an In-Display fingerprint sensor and comes with software enhancements like the Dynamic Bar (Dynamic-Island) for added notifications and functionality. Additionally, itel includes its GPT AI assistant “Hi, Aivana” for user inquiries and searches.

Connectivity-wise, the itel S23+ supports 4G LTE, WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.

On the software side, the phone runs Android 13 with the itelOS 13 skin overlay.
