Meizu 20 Classic launched: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 16GB RAM, 144Hz refresh rate

The Meizu 20 Classic has top-notched hardware and is integrated with the brand’s auto system.

The automotive company Geely is back with a flagship handset called Meizu 20 Classic, with a  refreshed, premium-looking design.

The Meizu 20 Classic is powered by Android 13, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 16GB of RAM, and 4700mAh battery unit. On top of that, the smartphone runs Flyme 10 which supports integration with some cars running Flyme’s Auto system.

At the back of this sleek handset is the triple-rear camera led by the 50MP main shooter. It’s assisted by the 16MP sensor for ultrawide shots and 5MP sensor for depth.

The battery is just right at 4700mAh with 67w fast-charging support. You can find other flagships with better batteries but they may cost you more.

Despite its look, Meizu 20 Classic is capable of hardcore gaming, thanks to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Adreno 740. To combat overheating, the manufacturer installed a considerably large 4,000 squared millimeter vapor cooling chamber.

Meizu 20 Classic comes in Green, Iron Gray, and White, and with a polished back panel compared to its predecessor.

The 16GB/256GB model costs CNY 3,099 or ₱24,052.25 while the 16GB/512GB costs CNY 3,399 or ₱26,380.64. Meizu 20 Classic is now up for sale via the official website and select stores in China.

There’s no word yet about its official global rollout. Check out our specs page for the Meizu 20 Classic below.
