A new powerful, foldable smartphone just came out and it has a one-inch camera sensor.
OnePlus has rolled out its top-tier, premium foldable smartphone with two display screens. The OnePlus Open will make people gawk because of its 7.82 inches LTPO AMOLED foldable screen and 6.31 cover display.
Powering this foldable smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Android 13, with the OxygenOS 13.2 skin. But performance isn’t the real deal on this device.
The front side or cover display of 6.31 inches has 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, enough to make visuals pop out. Once you open the device, be stunned by the bigger main display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate as well.
To match the visuals, OnePlus Open offers three camera sensors at the back, in which the main shooter is the Sony LYT-T808: one-inch sensor size. That’s assisted by the Sony IMX581 ultrawide sensor and OmniVision OV64B telephoto sensor.
There are two cameras on the front of this smartphone. The 20MP sensor is on the main screen while the 32MP shooter is on the cover display.
According to the official website, OnePlus used a proprietary cobalt molybdenum alloy on the hinge to make it more durable, compared to the 316L surgical-grade stainless steel often on other foldable smartphones.
For all-day use, OnePlus Open comes with a 4805mAh battery, which supports up to 67w fast charging via SUPERVOOC.
The performance, camera setup, and display screens of OnePlus Open are enough to justice its staggering price of INR 139,999 or around ₱95,700. However, we’re yet to confirm the global release of this premium flagship foldable smartphone.
