Why Mobile Legends Runs Smoothly on Low End Phones?

As of writing, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is listed on the Play Store without a minimum RAM requirement. However, many individuals on the web claim that the minimum is now at 2GB, which may be laggy.

So, how does the game run on low-end devices? Among several MOBA titles on mobile, MLBB is more optimized to run on a plethora of devices.

In 2021, Moonton launched Operation Attention to fix dozens over dozens of issues in-game. It included optimization for resources, script running, logic, resources preload, UI, draw call, rendering, and team fight.

The game is still subject to spikes and lags but the consistent optimization patches allow old and budget smartphones to load this game and run matches. If you check the in-game graphics, the shadows may be turned off by default. This will greatly prevent FPS drops, especially during clashes.

When playing MLBB or other MOBAs, your priority is FPS not the graphics quality. Make sure that the FPS is consistent, whether 30 or 60, because a drop may make or break a game for either side.
