Leaked teaser images hint at some distinctions between the two devices, with the standout feature being the F15’s impressive 6,000mAh battery – a notable 1,000mAh increase from the A15. This mirrors the capacity of its predecessor, the Galaxy F14 5G.
Additionally, the F15 is anticipated to support 25W charging through USB-C, as recently certified. Samsung has committed to offering a commendable 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patches for the F15, a significant improvement compared to the F14, which received only 2 OS updates and 4 years of patches.
Highlighting the “Voice Focus” feature, a long-standing inclusion in the Galaxy A and F series since One UI 5.0, the F15 aims to enhance call clarity by filtering out ambient noise on both ends of the conversation.
Beyond these enhancements, the F15 is expected to retain the 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz display with a 13MP selfie camera in a notch, mirroring the A15. The triple-camera setup, likely comprising a 50MP main, 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP helper, follows the trend, addressing the absence of an ultra-wide module in the F14. The base configuration remains steady at 4/128GB.
While the potential unveiling date is pegged for February 22, an official confirmation is yet to be received. Meanwhile, Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a 4G version of the Galaxy F14, promising more developments on the horizon.
