From smartphones to electric cars, AnTuTu can now benchmark EVs. Top performers for May 2024 unveiled.
AnTuTu is no longer limited to smartphones and mobile batteries. It’s now a testing platform for an even bigger item: an electric car.
The platform recently launched a dedicated app for electric vehicles and has revealed the first chart with the currently crowned top performer, the Zeekr 007 with 1,075,244 points. It was followed by the Xpeng X9 with 965,631 points and Mercedes EQE with 963,130 points.
Despite being introduced back in December last year, the Xiaomi SU7 didn’t make the May AnTuTu chart. It did appear on the June 2024 chart, however, with 957,833 points in fourth place. All these four electric vehicles are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor.
The June chart will still change as the month progresses and being in fourth place, the Xiaomi SU7 will likely end up in the final chart, which will be published in July.
Other familiar models also appeared on the May list, including the Xpeng P7i with 525,686 points, Polestar 2 with 426,855 points, and Audi Q4 e-tron with 371,444 points.
The AnTuTu benchmark for EVs tests similar aspects as with smartphones. It trials the processor, memory, and storage. However, the app is still a work in progress and will eventually include more models for its database.
