vivo’s Y28 lineup just got bigger with the leak of the Y28s 5G on Geekbench. While whispers of a Y28 4G circulated earlier, the Y28s 5G emerges as a surprise addition to the family.
The Y28s 5G (model number V2346) scored 599 in single-core and 1,707 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6.3. It runs the latest Android 14 with Vivo’s likely Funtouch OS 14 on top. The benchmarked unit boasted 8GB of RAM, hinting at potential RAM variants at launch. Powering the phone is likely the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a chip unveiled in April 2024.
Global certifications suggest the Y28s 5G will support 15W wired charging. Launching potentially six months after the Y28, the Y28s 5G could be its successor with 5G connectivity and an upgraded chipset. We’ll keep you updated on further developments.
