May Extra Bayad na ang Shared Netflix Accounts

Netflix

Not all Filipinos have a credit card to use for Netflix sign ups, and that’s why for those who do have, nagpapahiram sila ng accounts for a set price.

This is actually prohibited according to Netflix’s terms and conditions. But the company said the focus is on security, and not charging more.

Not “ours” or “theirs”, just “yours.” – Netflix, apparently.

The other tests include prompting the watcher to create their own account. Pero last year pa ang test na ‘to kaya naman mag-chacharge na ng extra ang Netflix sa mga account owner na nagpapahiram.

This isn’t final yet – sa Chile, Peru, and Costa Rica lang gagana ang extra charges. The charges may be Netflix’s way of compensating a declining number of subscribers, or mas nagiging competitive na ang Disney+ when it comes to streaming services.
