Huawei Nova 10, Nova 10 Pro Leaks

Huawei is releasing a 5G version of the Nova 10 series and is set to release anytime in June of this year.

A weibo leaker has revealed some key details about the latest Nova phones from Huawei. According to leaker, the Huawei Nova 10 is going to run on a Snapdragon 778G chipset, while the Nova 10 Pro will use the very new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 was just released a few months ago, along with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which is currently the most powerful mobile chipset (excluding the newly released Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus).

There’s no information yet about the exact specs, and pretty much all of the available information about the phones are speculation. Just to recap, the previous Huawei Nova 9 series were equipped with SD 778G 4G chipsets. The 5G package that the Huawei Nova 10 series will run on is definitely an upgrade over the Snapdragon 778 4G chipsets.

As for the cameras, the Huawei Nova 10 is rumoured to have a quad camera setup – the main camera will be able to capture shots in 64MP, in addition to the 13MP camera and the two 2MP shooters for bokeh and depth sensors.*

The Huawei Nova 10 Pro, on the other hand, will be using a Kirin 985 5G chipset. There are rumours that the two phones (or at least one of them) will be using a Dimensity chipset, but the leaker tipped that the Nova series will not be compatible with the Dimensity SoCs.
