Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google-parent Alphabet, recently unveiled the Bard AI chatbot to compete with ChatGPT, a popular rival.

The bot was given instructions to converse with a nine-year-old about the findings made by the James Webb Space Telescope in this advertisement.

The Bard AI error responded that the telescope was the first to capture images of a planet outside the solar system.

This information was incorrect because the European Very Large Telescope has made this accomplishment its own in 2004. Astronomers on Twitter caught this error right away.

In response to the tweet, a fellow at Newcastle University by the name of Chris Harrison raised concerns about Google’s fact-checking. “Why didn’t you fact-check this example before sharing it?” he asked in a remark.

Investors were also unimpressed by Bard AI error and Google while they to integrate artificial intelligence into its goods.

In addition to that, Moreover, Microsoft has also recently announced a new version of its Bing search engine. The ‘updated’ Bing will use the ChatGPT technology in a more advanced form. This means more competition in the industry!
