Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, has just terminated the official YouTube account of CNN Philippines
CNN Philippines’ YT channel terminated!
It reads “This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated.” when you go to its page at the moment.
It has been terminated because we have received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material that the user posted.
This is the newest high-profile account that YouTube terminated. Just last week, YouTube also terminated channels of Quibiloy-led SMNI news and Kingdom of Jesus Christ. A month back, it has taken down the official channel of “church leader” Apollo Quiboloy.
Upon checking its official Facebook page, CNN Philippines has yet to issue a statement on the matter. Based on YouTube’s Google Support page, CNN can still appeal if they believe that their channel or account was mistakenly terminated.
