Everyone is quite frustrated about the issue!
Since last night, there has been growing concern among people regarding issues with the GCash app. Various services within the app have been experiencing disruptions, causing frustration among users. One of our team members is particularly annoyed as they are unable to recharge their phone’s mobile load using GCash due to the ongoing service outage.
Interestingly, not everyone seems to be affected by this problem, and it appears that those experiencing issues are somewhat randomly distributed. GCash has issued an advisory on their Facebook page addressing the problem, but it seems that a quick resolution is not readily achievable.
We hope that GCash will prioritize addressing and resolving this issue promptly. On Twitter, some users have reported difficulties sending money through the app, while others have encountered problems with logging in. A subset of users has even been logged out of the app, encountering error messages when attempting to access it.
According to downdetector.com, a website that tracks service outages, reports of GCash being inaccessible began to rise as early as 5 a.m. on Monday, with the peak occurring around noontime.
