Google will allegedly launch three Pixel 8 models this year, but one of them is a real disappointment.
In the latest round of reveals, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is spotted with three colors and one of which is quite intriguing. The allegedly device’s color families are Obsidian, Porcelain, and Sky Blue. All three are not so eye-popping but they have history.
The Obsidian color is just a port from Google Pixel 7 Pro, while the Sky Blue is seen in the recent Pixel 8a images.
Yes! There’s a Pixel 8a too, and is speculated to arrive in 2024. The leaked images showed the front, back, and side of the alleged smartphone. This Sky Blue variant features similarities with Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 models.
As seen above, the Pixel 8a’s body is rounded unlike the rendered images of Pixel 8 Pro. The sad part isn’t that but the shockingly wide bezels, which is odd for a Pixel device today.
If there’s any redemption, Pixel 8a is allegedly powered by Tensor G3 – the same one rumored on both Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Moving to the price tags, the differences between the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series are not massive, according to a tipster. The same tipster also claimed that the “most credible source” of it is “Google themselves.”
Here’s the gist: Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro will cost the same at $899 or ₱51,039.38. But if you’re moving from Pixel 7 to Pixel 8, you’ll have to bear a $100 increase, as the latest is rumored to be priced at $699 or ₱39,684.68. Check the tweet below.
I wasn't really going to do this today, but someone claims they know the prices of the Pixel 8 series in the US, which isn't really true, so here it is-

The Google Pixel 8 Pro is also rumored to have 12GB of RAM and the Mali-G715, which has ray tracing support. Its cameras include the 50MP main shooter, 12Mp ultra-wide sensor, and 48MP telephoto lens at the back, and a 10.8MP at the front. The Pixel 8 series will launch on October 4.
