HUAWEI P series will now be replaced by “Pura” series

HUAWEI’s beloved P series, known for its cutting-edge cameras and stylish designs, is retiring after 12 successful years. The P60 marks the final chapter in this legacy. But fear not, Huawei is ushering in a new era with the Pura series, signifying purity and beauty in Spanish (pronounced “pyoo-rah”).

This shift to the Pura series reflects HUAWEI’s dedication to timeless design and cutting-edge technology. The name itself, with its minimalist translation of “beautiful,” has already sparked discussions online about its pronunciation.

The Pura series promises to redefine the smartphone landscape by combining stunning aesthetics with unparalleled imaging capabilities. This new line caters to users who embrace their passions and seek a phone that reflects their unique style.

Pura 70 Series on the Horizon

While official details are still under wraps, rumors suggest the Pura 70 or Pura 70 series will be the first under this new brand. Huawei teasers are expected to shed more light on their launch plans soon.

According to a Weibo post by reliable source Digital Chat Station, the Pura 70 lineup might include several models: the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra. The Ultra variant is believed to be the successor to the Art Edition, boasting a superior design but likely sharing similar specs with the Pro+ model. Key differences between the Pro and Pro+ models are expected to be in battery life and camera capabilities.

Interestingly, whispers from HUAWEI offline stores suggest the P70 series might still be involved in a program called the “Pioneer Plan,” though official confirmation is pending. Some reports even mention blind ordering events kicking off in China, allowing eager customers to reserve their preferred models.
