Here is an appetizer to come before our complete review: the unboxing and first impressions!

The NOTE 30 VIP which focuses on lifestyle and being a daily driver, with flagship killer-level specs that you wouldn’t believe are being offered at such an inexpensive price point.

What does the Infinix NOTE 30 VIP have in store for us? Does it merit the moniker “VIP”? Is it only a useless fuzz, though? Read our first impressions but first, check out the specs for this phone right here:

Unboxing

Almost identical packaging to that of the Infinix NOTE 30 4G, although a little bit longer to better match the inside parts. We were pleased to see that the VIP edition of the phone shares the same neon green coloring as the Infinix NOTE 30 4G packaging. This straightforward yet tasty structure is really characteristic of Infinix.

A closer look at the box front art’s bottom portion. It contains a number of details about the phone that are important characteristics. The fact that JBL does the sound tuning is the most noticeable. There is also some textured polygon designs such as a hexagon.

In this perspective, the box’s apparent length is more noticeable.

More details about the phone and its different specifications are included on the box’s rear. The fact that the phone’s specifications are top tier for its pricing can already be concluded from this.

For us mid-range admirers, it’s truly just a piece of beauty. The surface of the box displays a prismatic pattern when the light contacts it.

Alas, Infinix included a 15W wireless charging pad. Take note that the Infinix NOTE 30 VIP can support 50W wireless charging yet Infinix only included a 15W wireless charging pad.

Examining the blue circle item in more detail. It only states that the gadget is an Infinix original.

Have we discussed it? The external cover of the package also includes details and specifications about the phone.

And a closer look. Nothing particular, just more information regarding the phone’s features.

And here is the quick unboxing video of the phone( note: it is pretty jam packed):

With the unboxing our of the way, let’s go on to our initial thoughts on the phone itself.

Design

The Infinix NOTE 30 VIP has a very sleek and stylish design. It has a glass back with a frosted finish that gives it a premium look and feel. The camera module is raised slightly from the back of the phone, but it doesn’t protrude too much. It has the same design identity as part of the Infinix NOTE 30 series but it still feels premium because of the material and color used; especially when stricken by light.

A closer look reveals that the phone has a three-camera system. It has 108 + 2 + 2MP cameras, making it rather powerful.

The phone’s frame is plastic, while appearing to be built of aluminum. It has the same appearance as the rest of the series, with the sim tray on the left side and the volume rocker and power button on the right.

Along with the USB Type-C connector and the 3.5 mm audio jack, the phone sports two stereo speakers, one above and one below the device.

The phone is also very thin and light, making it comfortable to hold and use.

Display

Finally, we’ll talk about the display:

The display is simply a sight to behold. One of the greatest displays in its price category, it has a 6.67-inch 1080P AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate alongside with an 87% screen-to-body ratio for a more immersive viewing experience.

What are your thoughts about this phone ka-woohoos? We must admit that we are astonished by this phone’s performance and aesthetics. It is quite compelling, and we can now claim that the phone truly has a “VIP” feel to it.
