MediaTek, a leading semiconductor company, has just announced its newest processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 7050. It is a newer version of the Dimensity 1080, which has been merged into the Dimensity 6000 and specific 7000 series.
This is to deliver an easier naming system for customers. It will be in the next Realme 11 series of phones and it is a product of TSMC’s 6nm process technology,
The Dimensity 7050 has some impressive specifications, boasting a CPU with two high-performance 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 cores and six power-efficient 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores, along with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It supports LPDDR5/4x memory and UFS 3.1/2.1 storage standards and can handle screens with resolutions of up to 2520 x 1080 pixels and 120Hz refresh rates.
With the ability to host lenses of up to 200MP, the Dimensity 7050 also offers exceptional camera support and advanced features like hardware HDR video, triple HDR-ISP, and MENR. It also offers encoding support for HEVC and H.264 formats and playback compatibility with HEVC, H.264, MPEG-1/2/4, and VP-9 codecs, making it a top-of-the-line choice for videography enthusiasts.
