Did you miss the flip phones of the recent past? You’ll see them again as a Japanese tech firm decided to turn the hands of time.
Meet the Mode 1 RETRO II – a retro flip phone powered by Android. If you’re thinking of something similar from other brands, think again because the Japanese tech firm went for the nostalgic memory between 2005 and 2010.
As shown above, the design brought back the essence of the classic flips from Motorola, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson and merged it with Android’s customizable nature.
The back cover features a faux leather while the front view highlights the shades of Beige. You’ll also see the familiar numeric keypad and hard buttons from the past. However, you can adjust these buttons and the Android navigation keys to your liking.
When in turtle mode, you’ll see the mini screen on the front cover to see the time. But other functions of this screen are yet to be determined.
