Nokia Unveils Nokia Federal Solutions, a Specialized Division Enhancing Collaboration with U.S. Federal Government

In a strategic move, Nokia has introduced Nokia Federal Solutions (NFS), a dedicated subdivision set to collaborate closely with the United States federal government, delivering essential technology and services to various agencies.

NFS is committed to tailoring solutions to the distinct needs of the United States, encompassing IP Routing, Optical Networking, Microwave, 5G, Private Wireless, and Tactical Private Wireless technology.

Highlighting the significance of this initiative for Nokia’s future in the defense business, Tommi Uitto, President of Mobile Networks at Nokia, emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting the unique requirements of the U.S. federal government.

Taking the helm as President of Nokia Federal Solutions is Mike Loomis, who expressed in a press release that the establishment of this dedicated entity aims to provide a local presence, cutting-edge technology, and expertise. Loomis sees NFS as a strategic investment, reinforcing Nokia’s commitment to fostering a strong partnership with the United States.
