Nubia is currently developing several cutting-edge smartphones, including a foldable model like the Nubia Z60, Z60 Ultra, and Z60 Fold.
A recent report from GSMChina has disclosed the model numbers of these upcoming flagship Nubia phones. Here’s a summary of the information that has surfaced thus far:
In August, a Nubia device bearing the model number NX769J appeared in Geekbench and Wi-Fi Alliance databases, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This device is believed to be the Red Magic 9 gaming smartphone.
Another device with the model number N721J was listed on Wi-Fi Alliance alongside the Magic 9 gaming phone. According to the IMEI database, this device will be named the Nubia Z60 Ultra upon its release. It is anticipated to come with MyOS 14, based on Android 14, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This phone may also boast a 35mm camera, a 1-inch sensor, and an under-display selfie camera.
The report also reveals the existence of another Nubia phone with the model number NX801J, which has appeared in the IMEI database. This device is slated to be Nubia’s inaugural foldable phone, bearing the moniker Nubia Z60 Fold. The Z60 Fold is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and is expected to launch alongside the Z60 Ultra.
A different device with the model number NX715J has received radio and 3C certifications in China. This device appears to be the Nubia Z60, which may offer support for 80W fast charging.
The Nubia Z60 series is projected to be released in China in December of this year, though it remains uncertain whether all three devices will be introduced simultaneously.
