OnePlus Ace 3V specs leaks: SD 7 Gen 3, 1.5k display

Earlier this month, OnePlus made waves with the debut of the OnePlus 12, boasting the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, exclusively in the Chinese market. Now, the brand is preparing to unveil the Ace 3, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, targeting its domestic audience. Adding to the anticipation, a recent leak from the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station hints at OnePlus’s development of a mid-range Ace-branded phone.

Rumored key specifications for the OnePlus Ace 3V have surfaced, revealing that it is poised to be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The leak also highlights a flat display with an impressive 1.5K resolution. While the specific name of the device remains undisclosed, it is strongly suggested that it will be marketed as the OnePlus Ace 3V upon its release.

Anticipated as the successor to the Ace 2V, which made its debut in March 2023, the OnePlus Ace 3V is expected to hit the market in February or March 2024. Notably, recent trends indicate that new smartphone releases tend to be scheduled about a month earlier than their predecessors.

It is worth noting that the OnePlus Ace 2V was later rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 3 for the global market. Following this pattern, the Ace 3V might be unveiled internationally as the OnePlus Nord 4 or Nord 5. While specific details about the Ace 3V/Nord 4 remain elusive, it is speculated that pricing may align with its predecessor, the Ace 2V, which launched at 2,299 Yuan (~$321).

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, a powerhouse in its own right, has already been featured in devices such as the Honor 100 and the Vivo S18. Looking ahead, this chipset is also anticipated to drive the realme 12 Pro series, set to debut in the first quarter of 2024. The OnePlus Ace 3V, with its promising specifications, adds to the excitement surrounding the ever-evolving landscape of smartphone technology.
