DITO emerges as the top-rated mobile network in the Philippines, securing the prestigious award based on real consumer network tests conducted by Ookla from Q3 to Q4 in 2023.
In clinching this accolade, DITO achieved an impressive rating of 3.6, surpassing competitors Smart (3.4) and Globe (3.3).
At the MWC 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, the newly appointed CEO of DITO Telecommunity, Eric Alberto, proudly accepted the award during a ceremony at the Ookla booth.
This victory marks a significant milestone for DITO as the Philippines’ official third mobile telecommunications company, especially noteworthy given its mere three-year existence.
In addition to this achievement, DITO recently secured a substantial USD 3.9 billion for its long-term goals, aimed at clearing short-term loan facilities, compensating contractors, and supporting ongoing network expansion projects.
