OPPO rolls out its new budget smartphone A2x in China with two variants and three color families.
A new affordable handset has landed and it’s powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and 5000mAh battery. It also features a 6.55-inch 720p IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth viewing experience.
It’s the OPPO A2x which sports a 13MP + 2MP dual-rear camera powered by AI and a single 5MP camera for selfies.
The Dimensity 6020 handles the phone’s performance, backed up by the Mali-G57 GPU, 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. If that much storage space isn’t enough, you can expand it via the microSD card slot.
Extras of OPPO A2x include the much-loved 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G, a dual-SIM tray, and IP54 for water and dust resistance. The device runs Android 13 tweaked by the custom ColorOS 13.1 skin.
While the battery unit is definitely huge for an entry-level phone, it only supports up to 10w fasting charging speed. But you may not need to charge it often since the display’s resolution is power efficient.
OPPO A2x is now available in China in three color families Midnight Black, Muguang Gold, and Feishuang Purple.
The 6GB/128GB variant has a price tag of CNY 1,099 or ₱8,600 while the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 1,399 or ₱11,000.
