The Oukitel OT5, a new budget tablet from the company, is set to launch in mid-November. The tablet will be powered by the Helio G99 SoC, which is a mid-range chipset from MediaTek. It will also have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage onboard.
The Oukitel OT5 will feature a 12-inch 2K LCD display and a massive 11,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. It will also have a 5MP selfie camera on the front and a 16MP primary camera joined by a 2MP macro unit on the back.
The tablet will come in three colors and will support a stylus and keyboard, which will be sold separately. It will also have a USB-C port at the bottom, flanked by two speakers, with the other two placed on the top-side frame. A volume rocker and an accented power button will be on its right side.
The Oukitel OT5 is said to be “a tablet for fun and study,” and it will be 7.5mm thick.
The Oukitel OT5 is set to launch with a premiere sale price of less than $200 (€190/INR16,650). This converts to around PHP 11,350 at the current exchange rate.
The Oukitel OT5 seems like a promising budget tablet. It has a decent chipset, plenty of RAM and storage, a large display, and a massive battery. It also comes with support for a stylus and keyboard. This could really be a good choice.
