The first-ever Polestar smartphone that looks like a Meizu flagship is getting unveiled this month.
After a long wait, Polestar Phone is finally launching this year! The Polestar Phone is expected to be a premium smartphone, topped with the best specs.
On Weibo, teaser photos were revealed including the phone’s form factor and stunning design. The first glance will definitely remind you of Meizu phones, like the Meizu 20 Pro and Meizu 20 Infinity launched last year.
But the real deal is the design and bezels. The screen has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and 2K resolution, both are amazing when watching your favorite shows. Topping your viewing experience is the 2.2mm ultra-thin bezels around the phone; Polestar Phone nearly has no chin!
So, what’s powering the device? It’s likely getting a Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset – either 8 Gen or 8s Gen 3. The phone also has three rear cameras with the following specs:
- Main: f/1.9 aperture, 23mm equivalent focal length
- Telephoto: f/2.0, 70mm equivalent focal length
- Ultrawide: f/2.4, 15mm equivalent focal length
Polestar and Meizu are both owned by the parent company Geely. Polestar is a Swedish automotive maker while Meizu is a Chinese electronics company.
Polestar likely collaborated with Meizu for its very first smartphone. However, it’s expected to boast multiple AI features, particularly with augments for Polestar cars.
Polestar Phone will be introduced in China on April 23.
