realme GT 5 Pro to launch soon with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and other high-end specs
realme has officially confirmed the launch of the realme GT 5 Pro via a new poster on Weibo. The poster was first shared by realme’s Chief Marketing Officer, Xu Chase, who revealed that the phone will launch this year. The Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and other high-end specifications.
In addition to the official teaser, the smartphone is also expected to feature VC Cooling technology to dissipate heat and ensure seamless performance.
Realme GT 5 Pro specifications (expected)
Ahead of the official launch, the realme GT 5 Pro specifications have already been leaked online. The smartphone is expected to feature a curved AMOLED display with a 2K resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is also expected to pack a 5400 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
A recent DCS leak revealed that the realme GT 5 Pro will come with a BOE AMOLED display and Android 14 out of the box. It is also tipped to feature a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP IMX966 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP OV64M telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a third sensor whose details are still unknown.
Other connectivity options expected on the realme GT 5 Pro include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone was spotted in black color in a Weibo leak last month, and it is expected to ship with a circular camera module.
Given that the company has taken its time to develop the realme GT 5 Pro, we can expect it to be a high-end smartphone with some impressive specifications.
