realme launching a new smartphone with a chipset the brand has never used before.
Reports suggest that realme’s chief marketing officer revealed an upcoming launch of a new device this month.
The said device is the realme GT Neo6 SE, recently spotted getting certification by TENNA. The listing unveiled that the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, the first for the brand.
On top of that, realme GT Neo6 SE is speculated with the following:
- 6.78” AMOLED display with LTPO technology
- Display resolution between FHD+ and QHD+
- Peak brightness of 6,000 nits
- Up to 16GB RAM
- Up to 1TB ROM
- 50MP main camera with OIS
- 5500mAh battery
- 100W turbo charging
- Android 14 + realme UI 5.0
In a more recent report, the realme GT Neo6 SE appears to have very thin bezels, at least from the pics shown by the chief marketing officer.
The upcoming realme GT Neo6 SE is in the middle flanked by the iQOO 12 Pro on the left and the Redmi K70 Pro on the right.
So, when’s the official rollout? The post from the CMO was logged on April 1, 2024 and it included “see you next week” as a hashtag, while the bezel comparison was logged on April 2.
That means realme may launch this new device on April 8 or perhaps during the weekends. As for the global release, that remains to be seen but rumors hinted at a different name of realme GT 6.
