realme has unveiled its new P series smartphones targeted at the Indian market, the P1 and P1 Pro. Both phones will be launched on April 15th at noon local time.
Realme P1 Pro: Premium Features at a Mid-Range Price
The P1 Pro boasts a “Best Curved Display Under INR 20K(~₱13,545.08)” title, featuring a 120Hz curved AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole selfie camera. It utilizes Pro-XDR support and Rainwater Touch technology for a smooth user experience.
Powering the device is the “Best Snapdragon Chipset Under INR 20K(~₱13,545.08)” according to realme, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. A 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging keeps you going, while the phone comes in stylish Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue color options and offers IP65 water and dust resistance.
realme P1: Focusing on Price-Performance
The P1 emphasizes value with its “Fastest Chipset Under INR 15K(~₱10,158.81)” claim, housing the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. It features a flat 120Hz AMOLED display with a remarkable 2,000 nits peak brightness. Rainwater Touch technology and an under-display fingerprint sensor further enhance convenience.
While the exact battery capacity remains under wraps, the P1 boasts 45W fast charging for swift power-ups. It features a 50MP primary camera and an IP54 rating for some protection against the elements. Color options include Phoenix Red and Peacock Green.
realme is expected to reveal further details about both phones leading up to their official launch on April 15th.
