Redmi K60 Pro’s successor is coming as Redmi K70 Pro’s scores allegedly showed 16GB RAM and 3.19GHz SoC.
Xiaomi seems already done with its lineup for Q1 2024. The alleged Redmi K70 has been spotted recently and it looks like the series will feature three models.
Just a quick background, the Redmi K60 series was launched in China in December 2022, which means Xiaomi could do the same for the Redmi K70 series.
According to the latest rumors, Redmi K70 will be released with three models, namely, Redmi 70E, Redmi K70, and Redmi 70 Pro. The last one is predicted as a flagship killer of 2024. That’s possible because the score sheet of the rumored device was seen on Geekbench.
Previously, the upcoming Redmi 70 Pro was alleged with the model number 23113RKC6C, but was eventually dropped as a spoof. Now, another device appeared with the model number 23117RK66C running with 16GB of RAM and Android 14, which isn’t officially released yet.
The same sheet on Geekbench hinted at the processor with a base frequency of 2.26GHz and a max clock speed of 3.19 GHz. This SoC is the rumored Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
If true, then the Redmi 70 Pro has what it takes to beat many flagships next year, but take these details with a grain of salt. The yet-to-be-confirmed device scored 1100 in single-core and 5150 in multi-core on Geekbench.
Redmi K60 Pro was released with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a clue about what the successor will get. Meanwhile, the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is expected to go official during Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit scheduled in October.
