Key specs of the rumored Redmi K70E surfaced online, including a display with 1.5K resolution.
The successor of Redmi K60E may be on the horizon as key specs of the alleged Redmi K70E leaked online. Details unveiled the processor, battery, charging speed, and display info.
According to @ZionsAnvin on Twitter, Redmi K70E is likely powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC. This unreleased processor is claimed with the following:
Clock speed | 2.8GHz |
Architecture | 1 Arm Cortex-X3 @ 2.8GHz, 3 Arm Cortex-A715 @2.4GHz, 4 Arm Cortex-A510 @ 1.6GHz |
Graphics | Mali-G520 |
Process | 4 nanometers |
Display support | 1440 x 2560 or 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate |
Memory support | 128GB LPDDR5 |
With Dimensity 8300, the leak of 1.5K display resolution or 1220 x 2712 on Redmi K70E makes sense. The smartphone is also expected to have an OLED display and a massive 5500mAh battery pack with 90w fast charging.
Reports claim that the Redmi K70 lineup is composed of Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70E and will launch in China this December. Unlike K70E, the vanilla K70 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the K70 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Weirdly, the predecessor Redmi K60E features a 2K display while equipped with Dimensity 8200. So, take the leak with a grain of salt because the resolution appears to have been nerfed on Redmi K70E. It may be a trade for the higher CPU and faster charging rate.
