Redmi Note 12S spotted on a certification website

The Redmi Note 12S was spotted on a SIRIM website, signaling an imminent release this month

The Redmi Note 12S is anticipated to go on sale soon from the Xiaomi sub-brand following the recent announcements of the Redmi Note 12 (4G), Note 12 (5G), Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G for the international market.

According to certifications and leaks, the device will be made available worldwide in the upcoming weeks. The Redmi Note 12S was spotted on the SIRIM database before launch.

The listing only confirms that the smartphone with model number 2303CRA44A is the Redmi Note 12S; no other information regarding the specifications is provided.

The Redmi Note 12S is reportedly going to be a slightly upgraded version of the Note 11S from last year, according to recent reports. It might not have a depth sensor, but it should have faster charging capabilities.

According to rumors, the Redmi Note 12S may have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a fluid refresh rate of 90Hz. The Helio G96 chipset, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, may power it from within.

A quad-camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor is said to be present on the Redmi Note 12S’s back. It might have a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
