Samsung Galaxy A04: Balik Budget Quality Na Ba Ulit Ang Samsung?

After ng sunud-sunod na flop coming from Samsung’s entry-level line, the Galaxy A04 seems to be the most promising smartphone on a budget this 2022

We’ve been harsh with Samsung’s budget phone models, and for a good reason: they’re too pricey kasi and the specs isn’t that worth it — more brands offer better quality than Samsung’s… But not until today, because the Samsung Galaxy A04 may become their saving grace at hopefully, magbalik ng kanilang reputation from consumers who adored the brand but can’t quite afford their five digit models.

What’s the reason behind the optimism towards the Korean tech giant’s entry-level offering: ito lang naman kasi ang pinakauna nilang smartphone under this category na nagkaroon ng 50MP (yes, you’ve read it right) camera– ain’t that a steal?

Obviously, this is a follow-up to last year’s A03. Sa hitsura, mukhang walang masyadong nagbago, parehas na may plastic build sila, at dalawang camera setup. Given that budget phone ito, they can’t seem to bid farewell sa waterdrop notch dahil mas mura siguro ito, kumpara sa more latest na punch hole look (still, there are many brands out there that implements a punch hole display for their budget phones). 6.5 inches ang lawak ng screen, Infinity V ang tawag nila sa display na ito with a decent 60Hz refresh rate.

Sa usapang processor naman, hindi pa specified ang kaniyang chipset but if we take a lucky guess, pupuwedeng either Unisoc, MediaTek or the newest JLQ ang nakalagay dito inside– and these chipsets are surprisingly decent for a budget phone. Octa-core na rin ang processor niya meaning, more power to handle multiple tabs and multitasking. It is reported din na mayroon siyang 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, kaya ‘di ka na rin lugi.

For comparison, 48MP lang ang nasa Galaxy A03 from last year.

Android 12 ang base operating system niya, customized by Samsung via their One UI Core 4.1. may Wi-Fi (dual band), Bluetooth 5.0, at 4G LTE. Type-C na rin siya (haay, salamat), at side-mounted na rin ang kaniyang fingerprint scanner. Sa ngayon, wala pang price at availability na in-announce kaya stay tuned lang dito sa aming website as we give you updates about this developing story.
