Samsung presents the W24 and W24 Flip!
Samsung has unveiled a more upscale series of foldable devices, namely the W24 and W24 Flip.
These smartphones are based on the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 models. What sets them apart are the golden frames adorning their bodies. Samsung has paired these gold accents with a black rear cover and included a stylus pen.
In terms of build, the back panels are crafted from ceramic material, rendering them more resistant to scratches compared to the standard Z Fold5 and Z Flip 5.
Samsung has also opted for a more costly material—a nano-polished ultra-closed Seiko hinge—to ensure a sturdier, more durable, and visually appealing design.
However, aside from these premium features, the rest of their specifications remain unchanged. The W24 shares the same hardware as the Fold 5, sporting a 120Hz 7.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X primary screen with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, a 6.2-inch FHD+ outer panel, an SD8G2 chipset, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, a 4,400mAh battery with USB-C 25W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging support.
For photography enthusiasts, it boasts a 50MP wide f/1.8 sensor with Dual Pixel AF and OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide f/2.2 sensor, and an additional 10MP f/2.4 3x telephoto sensor with OIS, accompanied by an LED flash.
On the other hand, the W24 Flip mirrors the specs of the Z Flip5, featuring a 120Hz 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X FHD+ primary screen with Gorilla Glass 6 protection, a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED outer display with a resolution of 748 x 720 pixels, an SD8G2 SoC, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a 3,700mAh battery with USB-C 25W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging.
For its camera setup, it includes a 12MP f/1.8 primary camera with AF and OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 123-degree ultrawide camera, and an LED flash.
