Sony Xperia 5 V is now on sale in Germany!

If you’re of a certain age, you’ll recall the era when Sony typically had a lengthy wait, spanning several months, between announcing a new phone and actually launching it. However, that’s not at all the situation with the Xperia 5 V this time.

The Japanese company officially introduced the device earlier this month, and here’s the exciting part – you can already place an order for it. In fact, you can purchase it from Amazon in Germany for €999.

The Amazon listing for the phone frequently updates its shipping date, but at the latest, you can expect it to arrive at your doorstep by Monday. If you’re too impatient to wait until then, you have the option to buy one directly from Sony’s official online store or Saturn, both of which guarantee delivery within a couple of days.

Just as a quick recap of its specifications: the Sony Xperia 5 V boasts a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080×2520 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM and options for either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Its camera setup includes a 48 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12 MP ultrawide lens, no dedicated telephoto camera, a 12 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 13.
