TECNO POVA 5 announced with respectable gaming specs

TECNO has announced the POVA 5, the first phone in its new POVA 5 series. The series will also include the POVA 5 Pro and POVA Neo 3. In addition, there will be a limited Free Fire Special Edition of the POVA 5, in collaboration with the popular battle royale game

The POVA 5 has a futuristic design that Tecno calls Turbo Mecha. The lines of the phone resemble the giant robot mecha of popular science fiction.

The TECNO POVA 5 has a large 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It can be fully charged in 60 minutes or to 50% in 21 minutes. The POVA 5 can also reverse-charge other devices via cable at up to 10W.

The battery is backed by Battery Lab 3.0 software and STS Secure Battery Technology for improved endurance and longevity. It is also powered by MediaTek’s 6nm Helio G99 processor and 8GB of RAM. It has a total of 10,749mm2 heat dissipation area, including a vapor chamber and a graphene heat sink.

The display is a 6.78-inch 1080x24460px IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The TECNO POVA 5 includes an 8MP selfie camera on the front and a 50MP camera with a depth sensor on the back. It has twin speakers with DTS Sound for a more immersive audio experience.

In Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, Tecno will sell the POVA 5 in Hurricane Blue, Amber Gold, and Mecha Black. Later, the pricing will be revealed for each market separately.
