TECNO POVA 6 leaks: Helio G99, 120Hz display, 8+256GB, same design as the POVA 6 Pro

The upcoming TECNO POVA 6 packs the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset (also known as MT6789/CD) and comes in configurations with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Storage options go up to 256GB, providing ample space for apps, games, and media.

The phone boasts a large 6.78-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels. While the exact refresh rate remains unconfirmed, the Helio G99 chip supports FHD+ displays at 120Hz, so there’s a good chance the POVA 6 might retain this smooth scrolling experience.

Endurance shouldn’t be a concern with the POVA 6. It carries over the same impressive 6,000mAh battery (listed as 5,850mAh typical) from the Pro model, supported by 70W fast charging. This ensures quick power top-ups to keep you going throughout the day.

Based on FCC documents, the POVA 6 mirrors the Pro model’s design with the same dimensions of 166 x 76 x 8mm. However, details regarding the camera setup remain unclear. The previous generation POVA 5 (also featuring the Helio G99) shared most camera specs with its Pro counterpart. Therefore, there’s a possibility the POVA 6 might follow a similar approach.

While official information about the camera is awaited, two key aspects require confirmation: the display’s refresh rate and the camera specifications. TECNO has yet to announce a release date for the POVA 6.
