The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor/Jane Foster, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and with Guardians of the Galaxy actor Chris Pratt.
There’s new characters introduced as well. Although wala sa trailer ang iba, makikita natin ang mga ibang bigatin na Hollywood stars including actor Russell Crowe as Zeus, Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Rises) as Gorr the God Butcher, Melissa McCarthy, Matt Damon, and a myriad cast of popular actors/actresses.
Meron din appearances ang previous characters from Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and from other MCU films, mainly from Guardians of the Galaxy.
The film is directed by Taika Waititi, the same genius who directed the successful Thor: Ragnarok. We can expect some very comical scenes, at ang pagbabalik ng lovable character na si Korg, which the director voices himself.
The genre of the film is heavily inspired by characteristics of fantasy in the ‘80s, kaya ala medieval fantasy ang dating. It’s based on the Thor: Love and Thunder Marvel comics.
A few things we noticed in this trailer: there’s a New Asgard following the destruction of their ship when they fled Asgard after the events of Thor: Ragnarok, Jane Foster also wields a reformed Mjolnir, Fat Thor is back in his game, working out using chains after being a total wreck in Avengers: Endgame.
Ang daming easter eggs but we don’t want to spoil you, so just wait for the movie in July.
It will be released on July 6, 2022. Along with the Philippines, Iceland, Italy, Mali and the Netherlands will also see the movie on the same date.
