vivo V30 leaks: SD 7 Gen 3, 12+256GB storage, 50MP, 80W charging, a stunning mid-ranger?

vivo has just rolled out its latest flagship phones, the Vivo X100 and X100, in select global markets. Now, the company is gearing up for the international launch of the vivo V30 series.

Speculations are swirling that the upcoming V30 and V30 Pro might be revamped versions of the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro, initially introduced in China in December 2023. Excitingly, the vivo V30 has already secured certification from the UAE’s TDRA certification platform.

According to the TDRA certification, the vivo device carrying the model number V2318 will make its debut in the UAE as the vivo V30. Prior to this, the device made appearances on various other certification platforms like Indonesia’s SDPPI, Bluetooth SIG, Taiwan’s NCC, and Geekbench. With numerous certifications in tow, there’s a buzz that the vivo V30 might hit the market in the first quarter of this year.

What’s in store for the vivo V30? Expect a stunning 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED display, boasting a crisp 1.5K resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is the FunTouch OS 14-based Android 14, promising a user-friendly experience.

Under the hood, the vivo V30 packs a punch with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Keeping you going throughout the day is a hefty 5,000mAh battery with super-fast 80W charging support. Security-wise, it’s got you covered with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
