Take a look at the vivo Y02’s first actual photos of the unit, its specs and pricing way ahead of launch
Renders of the vivo Y02 were leaked last week, confirming the device’s appearance, launch date, and some of its technical specifications.
The smartphone will probably go on sale for the global market today, November 28. However, live photographs of it had already been seen on Shopee Thailand prior to the launch.
The listing states that the vivo Y02 costs 3,799 baht or ₱6,018 when converted. Since the brand has not yet formally acknowledged this price, we advise readers to proceed with caution for the moment.
The device’s flat-edged appearance is confirmed by the live photographs, which also show a rectangular camera module with a circular cutout housing a single camera and the LED flash.
The description also reveals that the phone features a 6.5-inch screen, an 8MP camera on the back, 32GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
This is consistent with earlier rumors that the vivo Y02 would have an HD+-resolution 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. It was also rumored to have a single 8MP back camera and a 5MP front camera sensor.
At its core, the device will have a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for future expansion.
A 5,000mAh battery, Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12, and a 3.5mm audio jack are listed as additional features of the gadget.
