vivo Y100 5G launched: SD 4 Gen 2, 8+128GB storage, 50MP cam, 80W flash charging

In recent news, vivo has unveiled the impressive Y100 5G, showcasing the power of one of Qualcomm’s latest entry-level chips.

The phone boasts a contemporary and chic design, available in striking Purple Orchid or Black Onyx color options. Notably, a prominent rectangular camera island houses the three rear cameras and an LED flash, adding to its sleek aesthetic.

Under the hood, it houses a robust 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU. Users can choose between 8GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB memory configurations for optimal performance.

Powering the device is a substantial 5,000mAh battery, supporting USB-C cable charging and an impressive 80W flash charging capability.

The camera setup includes a high-resolution 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a flicker sensor + LED flash. On the front, users can capture stunning selfies with the 8MP shooter.

Adding an extra layer of security, the Y100 5G incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM functionality.
