vivo is gearing up to launch another Y200 series phone in India – the Y200 Pro 5G. This news comes after the launch of the Y200 in October 2023 and the Y200e 5G in February 2024.
Possible Rebrand or New Model?
While the official specs are yet to be revealed, leaks suggest the Y200 Pro 5G might be a rebranded version of the vivo V29e, launched last year. Here’s why:
- Matching Model Numbers: The Y200 Pro 5G is linked to two model numbers – V2401 and V2303. Interestingly, V2303 also belongs to the vivo V29e.
- Google Play Console Listing: A Google Play Console listing for the Y200 Pro 5G with model number V2303 revealed specifications matching the V29e, including a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 695 chip, 8GB RAM, and a 50MP front camera.

With BIS certification now secured, the Y200 Pro 5G launch seems imminent, possibly later this month or in May.
