According to GIZGUIDE, vivo told them that the rumors are true and the Y36 is coming to the Philippines this month
The Vivo Y36 was first introduced in Indonesia in May 2023. It is a stylish and affordable smartphone with superb performance. The device features a trendy Dynamic Glass Design in Glitter Aqua and Meteor Black colors. It has a 6.64-inch LCD (IPS) Ultra O screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz gaming touch sampling rate.
The Y36 is powered by a power-efficient 6nm Snapdragon 680 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 8GB of Extended RAM for a total of 16GB of RAM. It also has 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The phone has a large 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 44W fast charging. Vivo claims that it can charge up to 70% of the battery in just 34 minutes.
The Y36 also has a 50MP main camera with Super Night Algorithm technology. This can help you take better photos in low light conditions.
Vivo is targeting the Filipino Gen Z and young millennials with the Y36. It is expected to be priced in the mid-range segment. The company also teased that there will be a brand ambassador and a partnership with an international sports organization to help promote the phone model.
