The two high-end smartphones were announced back in December 2022 for the Chinese market. This time, it will be for Global consumers
We will discuss about the Xiaomi 13 Pro first. The Xiaomi 13 Pro global version has a rear cover made of your choice of faux leather or ceramic, both of which have an IP68 classification for dust and water protection.
A new nano-tech material has been introduced to the Mountain Blue color version, keeping it soft and pleasant to the touch with a delicate texture while making it resistant to photodegradation and peeling white. Black, Flora Green, or Ceramic White are other color options.
The display has a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED with a QHD+ 3200 x 1440 resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 120Hz variable refresh rate, ambient color temperature sensor, and an in-display fingerprint reader.
It has a 4820mAh battery size with USB-C120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging on the inside. It also has a 4nm 3.2GHz SD8G2 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU, 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and UFS 3.1 storage in the case of the 128GB variant.
Xiaomi also integrated safety protocols for its fast charging.
The remaining features include dual SIM slots, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, Hi-Res Audio, IR Blaster, WiFi 6E, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and stereo speakers calibrated for Dolby Atmos.
Moving forward, the cheaper model will be referred to as the Xiaomi 13. This time, despite having robust internals, it is touted as a thin and tiny device.
Similar materials to those used on the ceramic back cover (in Black, White, or Green) or faux leather are included (Blue).
The display is smaller, measuring 6.36 inches with an E6 AMOLED panel, FHD+ resolution, 120 frames per second, 240 frames per second for touch, Dolby Vision, a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR 10+, and a maximum brightness of 1,900 nits.
Same SD8G2 processor, New Adreno GPU, 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, 4,500mAh battery with USB-C 67W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless are all included in this device.
The phone’s cameras include a 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera, a 50MP f/1.9 Sony IMX800 Hyper OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP f/2.0 3.2x telephoto zoom with OIS.
Dolby Atmos stereo speakers with Dolby tracking, an IR blaster, and an IP68 grade for water and dust protection are all mentioned as additional features.
It supports dual SIM and offers 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC connectivity.
Both smartphones will be running Android 13 with a MIUI 14 custom skin.

The devices are now available for pre-order in Europe and the sale begins on March 8 as per the MWC announcement. Meanwhile, the PH availability and price are still unknown but they may arrive soon as well.
