Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro with 16GB RAM, SD8 Gen 3, Android 14 spotted on Geekbench

The Xiaomi 14 series made its presence felt on Geekbench with higher performance than its predecessor.

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship lineup looks ready for the ongoing Snapdragon Summit, currently being held in Hawaii.

The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro were detected on Geekbench and showed some interesting details. First, the two phones of the series will have 16GB of RAM. Second, that sizable memory will be paired with Qualcomm’s soon-to-launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. And third, the devices will run the latest Android 14 OS.

There’s another thing worth mentioning and it’s the HyperOS, currently waiting for its commercial launch. Xiaomi recently revealed that this OS is designed to integrate all of its compatible products into a single ecosystem, much like Huawei’s HarmonyOS.

HyperOS will use Android 14 as its base to enable support on many Xiaomi mobile devices.

On Geekbench 6.2.0, Xiaomi 14 showed around 60% higher single-core performance and 74% higher multi-core performance, compared to the scores of Xiaomi 13. The Xiaomi 14 Pro also demonstrated improvements of about 87% on single-core and 76% on multi-core, compared to Xiaomi 13 Pro.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU unveiled on Geekbench is found with 1×3.30 GHz Cortex-X4 + 3×3.15 GHz Cortex-A720 + 2×2.96 GHz Cortex-A720 + 2×2.7 GHz Cortex-A520 configuration.

The Snapdragon Summit is scheduled from October 24 to 26, 2023 in Hawaii.
