ZTE Blade V41 Vita is an upgrade or downgrade?

After the impressive ZTE Blade V40 Vita was released in May this year with some outstanding features, the company has mad a follow up to release the ZTE Blade V41 Vita with some modifications . Let’s take a closer look at the features and price of the new release.

Specs

The phone has a plastic and it is protected by back plastic which is kind of a bummer. Plastic finishes tend to give a cheaper and less premium feel to smartphones. This however, does not outdo the other great features of the phone.

The mobile phone has a 6.5 inches (6.5 inches) IPS LCD Display, FHD+ resolution, Triple Camera setup, 50MP wide, 2MP macro, 2MP depth, 8MP selfie camera, and FHD+ video recording capability. It is nice to see a slight bump on the main camera from the previous model.

The ZTE Blade V41 Vita runs on Android 12 OS, MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, and Octa-core processor. The other features include 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage, a 4500mAh battery, 22.5W Fast Charge, side-mounted Fingerprint, Dual SIM, NFC, GPS, and 5G Network

The fact that the previous model i.e the ZTE Blade V40 Vita which had 6000mAh is succeeded by a newer model but with less battery capacity makes this feel like a downgrade in some way. Also, it would have been great the new release would have a better display type, i.e OLED or AMOLED with a bigger or at least the same size as the previous model but remember, to keep the price friendly, I guess you have to sacrifice some to get some.

The biggest question would be: is this really an upgrade or a downgrade?

Price and availability

The ZTE Blade V41 Vita is available in a single Starry Black color and retails for $340 which is around Php 18,800.
