The POCO F5 Pro battery is actually 5500mAh not 5160mAh!

As you may have heard, there has been some confusion regarding the POCO F5 Pro battery capacity. But fear not, because we are here to set the record straight. Contrary to previous reports, the POCO F5 Pro does not have 5160mAh battery. In fact, the correct battery capacity for this device is a whopping 5500mAh!

POCO F5 Pro

The phone is a rebranded version of the Redmi K60. The Redmi K60 boasts a robust 5500mAh battery, but somehow, the phone was initially believed to have a smaller 5150mAh battery. So why the decrease in capacity?

Almost all the media channels have been portraying it has 5160mAh including the official POCO website and that created so much confusion. Thanks to our YouTube viewers we only found out through the comment section that it is actually 5500mAh instead of 5160mAh.

To further make sure they were right we also checked the battery specifications using other apps . And yes! they were right, the phone actually has a bigger battery than we saw on the official site.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide a definitive answer as to why this change was made. Speculation suggested that it might have been done to make the phone more affordable. However, after the launch, it became clear that the battery is indeed 5500mAh.

One can’t help but wonder about the significance of a mere 340mAh reduction in battery capacity. Would it have made a significant difference if the phone had retained the original 5500mAh battery?
