Rumors are circulating online that the tech giant will be releasing another MacBook Air by next year. Most MacBook Air units have screens that measure in the 11-inch to 13-inch category, but the company, in its boldest move, has made a somewhat counterintuitive decision.
The 15-inch Macbook Air will be released by next year if things go according to plan. Reports from Bloomberg say that the company is preparing plans for the new Macbook Air that is set to release in the early spring of next year.
The 13.6” Macbook Air will be using the latest M2 chips that the company just released this year. Aside from the Macbook Air, Apple is going to update two laptops (the Macbook Pro 14” and 16” variants) with the new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. These two new updates will give them enough computing power and better graphics processing.
MacBook Air was recently given a highlight during Apple’s recent WDDC event and was touted by the company as their best-selling laptop.
This change in screen size is a first, as the MacBook Air has constantly used a 14-inch display that balances power and portability for professionals and non-professionals that will be using the device.
