As we get closer to the stable release of Android 14, Google has decided it’s the perfect time to unveil a fresh look for the Android logo.
The new Android logo is now in 3D, making it appear more three-dimensional and, honestly, pretty cute. They’ve added various 3D versions, like one with a sparkling mirror ball and another with vibrant rainbow colors.
Google describes this new logo as having “more dimension and a lot more character” on their Keyword blog.
They’ve also changed the way they write ‘Android,’ with an uppercase ‘A’ that closely matches the style of the Google logo. This change aims to create a better balance between the two brands.
But that’s not all the excitement for Android users. Google has some cool new features in the pipeline, including updates to the At a Glance widget, improvements to the Lookout visual accessibility app, and even the ability to make Zoom calls in Android Auto.
